Case StudiesChronic constipation due to trauma/stress:Mrs JA had chronic constipation from late childhood. Now she was taking laxatives all the time. Some had little or no effect; others worked but made her feel faint or dizzy. Nobody seemed able to help and she felt terrible. After the first consultation and treatments Anna felt sure that the problems were caused by some early trauma or emotional shock ‘trapping’ the colon. At the 4th visit Anna was able to discover that Ms JA had been held hostage as a child and, shortly thereafter had survived a helicopter crash. Once she was able to talk to Anna releasing the emotional blocks, there was an immediate corresponding release from the colon. A barrier had been broken and very real progress began. Today Ms JA takes no laxatives and has almost regular bowel movements with a visit to the clinic every 3 - 6 months if necessary. And she feels and looks great! She says – No one but Anna even tried to find out why or ever suggested that the dreadful events in my childhood were the root of my problem (constipation) ... only she really helped – I was not surprised to discover that (as a nurse) she trained in Psychology for five years. I was amazed at the results of my treatments. Thank You.
Constipation from physical size and shape:Ms N – I was suffering from chronic constipation, mood swings and depression. Now I feel so much better, ‘lighter’ in mind and body. I make sure that I still have treatments at regular intervals before any problems start again. Anna – Mrs N has a problem with the shape of her colon – probably genetic – this was aggravated by anxiety. The more constipated she was, the more anxious she became and the more constipated, so it was a self fulfilling cycle. The failure to eliminate waste properly led to a rise in the body toxicity affecting both moods and physical health – she had little resistance to common viral infections. At the Clinic we used colonic irrigation to detox the system and encourage regular bowel movements – together with acupuncture to reduce stress and restore balance. In this case because of the underlying problem she really benefits from a regular treatment. Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS);Ms C had the classic IBS symptoms – constant bloating making her look pregnant – abdominal pain and cramps after meals – periods of sudden diahorrea, alternating with constipation. She had skin problems, fatigue and never wanted to go out with friends because she felt she was always miserable. During consolation and treatment diagnosis was confirmed and a treatment plan recommended, relieving her symptoms and enabled her to take back control over her life. IBS has many causes; suppressed emotions, unhealthy diet – especially food intolerances, and stress, and it is essential that treatments cover all the client’s needs. Miss C. – ‘Anna and everybody at the Chatsworth Centre were really kind and supportive. I won’t say it was easy, but I had the treatments, took the recommended supplements, and completely overhauled my diet. The energy I got from the detoxing colonics helped me to break the mould. I changed my life and it feels great. |
