Aromatherapy is a form of alternative medicine that uses volatile liquid plant materials, known as essential oils, and other scented compounds from plants for the purpose of affecting a person's mood or health.

Aromatherapy Massage

Aromatherapy’s healing capacity revolves around the use of essential oils whose remarkable therapeutic properties tend to stimulate the body’s own healing process. Physical therapies such as massage are an important factor in the therapy.

Touch has its own rewards and an expert massage will clear the body of unwanted tensions as well as decrease any nervous hyperactivity, thus restoring a sense of balance.

The aromatic dimension of essential oils to the massage or other aromatherapy treatments will activate another important sensory organ in the body, the sense of smell. This works at a very deep and unconscious level and results in a further beneficial transformation.

Who can use aromatherapy today, and what can be gained from it ?

  • Anyone who is healthy and fit and wants to keep it that way.

  • Anyone who’s lifestyle is taxing and wants to avoid becoming overstressed.

  • Anyone who is not well and whose symptoms can be alleviated by aromatherapy.

  • Anyone who is physically or psychologically impaired and who may need comfort and support.

How often do I have to get a treatment ?

It depends on the individual’s circumstances and requirements.

Some people may want a treatment every week to keep their body relaxed and toned, a typical example would be a dancer or an athlete.

Some may want it every few weeks if they need to de-stress themselves from work or from the daily demands of our fast living society.

Others may come for treatment every month to keep themselves feeling fit and healthy. People may also come for treatments if the want to feel good about themselves and feel pampered.
